Naomi Watts: Highest paid Aussie actor

Making $19.1 million, Watts just inched ahead of Nicole Kidman with her earning power, making her Australia’s highest paid entertainer for the year.

The actress netted cash not only from movies Dream House and J Edgar, but also with endorsement deals.

It was money from Watts’s deals with Pantene, Ann Taylor and Thierry Mugler’s Angel perfume which put her third in the list of the most bankable Australians in the entertainment industry.

It was topped by the company Global Creatures and childrens’ entertainers The Wiggles came in second.

Nicole Kidman was fifth on the list, earning $18.6 million, having starred in Rabbit Hole and Just Go With It and also having advertised Omega watches.

Actor Sam Worthington came in sixth and Simon Baker was 10th.

Hugh Jackman dropped 40 places to number 44, having made $2.5 million compared to $20.5 million in 2010.
