Have Will & Kate gone clucky?

Could the royal newlyweds be waiting until their one year anniversary to announce a third member of the family?

Will & Kate's busy week leading up to their one-year is fuelling the baby rumour-mill after they were left smitten by three-week old Hugo Vicary - the son of a soldier at an event the royal couple attended for the South Pole trek soldiers yesterday.

Will told young Hugo's parents that "he looks very sweet" before holding the baby in the crook of his right arm and looking at him with loving eyes, the Daily Mail reports, and was soon joined by Kate who said the baby was "very cute".

The couple's clucky behaviour is stirring rumours that Kate may be pregnant, along with speculation she may be concealing her bump by choosing peplum-style outfits and holding her clutch in front of her stomach.

Mr Vicary said of the experience: "The Duke liked the name he thought it was very apt. My wife asked if he would like to hold him and he took hold of him," the Daily Mail reports. He added that he thought the couple was "very natural" with children.

The reception was held at London's Goldsmiths' Hall to celebrate the South Pole Scott Expedition group - a group of soldiers who recreated the famous Scott-Amundsen race to the South Pole during a visit to the City of London.

What Kate wore

Kate wore an enamelled poppy brooch, and a dark blue tweed skirt and jacket by Australian New York-based designer Rebecca Taylor.
