Radio host and former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie has welcomed a daughter with husband Stuart Webb overnight.

The 36-year-old announced the happy news via facebook, writing: “We welcomed our beautiful little girl into the world last night.”

“She is doing very well, as is mum. We happen to think she is perfect and couldn’t be more delighted.”

The Nova drive show co-host worked right up until Friday last week alongside her co-hosts Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold.

Kate and Stuart, who tied the knot in Tasmania in 2010, are yet to announce their daughter's name.
