Jen and Justin's red carpet PDA

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux made their first official red carpet appearance in nine months at the New York City premiere for the actor's new HBO series The Leftovers on June 23.

The 45-year-old Friends actress has been absent from the red carpet since her last major premiere for the Life of Crime at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival in September.

In the HBO series, Justin is caught in a global Rapture-like event, where some people disappear and others are left behind.

When asked what he'd be most bummed to leave behind he joked: "My cell phone. No, my keys."

However he touchingly admitted he'd want his fiancee with him, saying: "That's who I'd want to bring back. That's who I'd want to bring with me."

An insider told Us: "Jen and Justin were really sweet together, they were both absolutely beaming. Inside the event, Jen was being really sociable and looked extremely happy. They looked totally in love and seemed very relaxed."
