Seeing her strut around in a bikini, accessorising with just a surfboard and a smile, it’s hard to see Home and Away star Bonnie Sveen as anything but naturally beautiful.

However in an industry based on unrealistic expectations of appearance, the size 10-12 star admits before she landed her lead role as Ricky Sharpe on the hit show, she felt intense pressure to lose weight - in often extremely unhealthy ways.

"I think it’s well established in the industry that slimmer is better. Peers might suggest that, people you work with might suggest that," the Tasmanian beauty tells New Idea exclusively.
