Michael Turnbull has responded to claims that he dumped his ex-girlfriend Katrina Vincent because she had a daughter.
The 34-year-old former soccer player posted a photo of him and Katrina's daughter, Ava, and wrote: 'Break ups are not easy and it has been a very upsetting time.
'I truly wish Katrina every happiness. She is a wonderful mother to a very beautiful daughter who I had the pleasure to spend time with and adored.'

Michael Turnbull and Katrina Vincent ended their relationship just weeks after they came out about their relationship in an Australian publication.
Katrina confirmed the news on Instagram and wrote: 'OK so for all of you who have been asking ... Michael and I are no longer together. He end up deciding he doesn’t want to date a person with a child.'

She continued: 'I am embarrassed and humiliated, I wish I didn’t trust him so easily. Oh well you always learn from your mistakes.'
The mother-of-one also posted a photo which read: 'The best revenge is always to just happily move on and let karma do the rest.'

The split comes as a shock as it was only weeks ago that Katrina was gushing about her relationship with Michael.
'He’s just amazing. I’m a big believer in love at first sight — and I knew within minutes that we had something special,' she said.
