Yahoo Lifestyle Pippa Middleton's US TV gig canned after 'cringeworthy' screen tests

According to several reports, Pippa Middleton has walked away from a $770,000 deal to work as a full-time special correspondent for American news network NBC.
Although she has already shot footage of in rural Wyoming for the show, several sources have confirmed that Kate Middleton’s 31-year-old sister has pulled out of the gig.
Pippa reportedly failed to impress channel bosses with her test shoots, with sources saying none of her footage has been aired because the show's producers weren't impressed with her performance.

"The camera just didn't seem to love her," a source told The Mirror.
"It was cringeworthy and just didn't work."
Although there was much excitement surrounding royal-in-law’s new NBC job, a source close to Pippa explained that she did not want to commit to moving across the pond.
"Ultimately she didn’t want to commit herself to a big job in the US. She’s got a boyfriend in Geneva and her family in the UK. It was too much for her to pack up and leave them behind," explained the insider.

"It was Pippa’s decision not to go ahead. It’s not where she sees her future," they added.
However, a source form NBC said it’s not clear if the decision was Middleton’s or the network’s, revealing.
"Pippa – or the lack of her – has been the talk of the company… It’s clear that someone has had reservations – but whether that’s from NBC’s side or her side, who knows?"
