Prince Harry to inherit his share of Diana's fortune

As Prince Harry approaches his 30th birthday on September 15, he is gearing up to receive his share of his late mother, Princess Diana's estate.

Harry stands to inherit $17.7 million (£10 million) which is the same amount left to his brother, Prince William, who turned 30 in 2012.

Thanks to accumulated interest in the past two years however, Harry's actual sum is expected to be larger than what Wills received.

Diana, whose estate consisted of stocks and shares, jewellery, cash from her divorce settlement, clothing and other personal belongings, left the money to her two sons to be shared equally.

Their mother, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997, had stated in her will that the boys were to receive the money on their 25th birthdays, however details of the will were changed by a variation order granted by the High Court three months after her death.

When Harry hits the big 3-0 the brothers are also set to receive Diana's iconic wedding dress that has been in the possession of her brother, Earl Spence since her death.

The Prince is believed to be throwing a St Moritz-themed party at Kensington Palace to ring in the landmark birthday.

Harry will reportedly enjoy an intimate dinner with 30 friends - including Wills and Kate - before the lavish bash in the Palace's drawing rooms.

Harry's current squeeze, Camilla Thurlow, 25, is believed to be on the guest list as wells Harry’s exes Cressida Bonas, 25, and Chelsy Davy, 28.

An insider revealed: “Harry has no problem with seeing his exes all under the same roof. Let’s just hope they don’t either.”
