Grube hails from the world of post-production, having collaborated with directors Dan Trachtenberg, Jason Reitman and JJ Abrams. His editing credits include films such as 10 Cloverfield Lane, Tully, The Front Runner, and Star Wars: Episode IX. He has also crafted some of the better trailers of the past decade.

The logline is currently under wraps, but sources say the movie revolves around a fractured family who must face the most catastrophic day of their lives.

The Picture Company is currently in post on the James McAvoy and Julianne Moore high-concept thriller Control for Studiocanal, and are among producers on Searchlight’s Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, which will be released Christmas.

Liang is also producing the upcoming Untitled Heist project at Sony Pictures with Plan B and Craig Gillespie.

Grube is represented by CAA, Grandview and attorney Gang Tyre Ramer; the Van Dykes by CAA and Kaplan/Perrone; and Levy by Mangolia and attorney Melissa Rogal; and the producers are CAA.
