Yahoo Lifestyle NCIS Sneak Peek: Jess Protects a Glam Socialite in ‘Miss Congeniality-Type’ Episode (Exclusive)
Special Agent Jessica Knight has her hands full with a sassy socialite, as seen in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek from the next episode of NCIS.
In the episode “Knight and Day,” airing Monday at 9/8c on CBS, things get tense after the home of a high-level defense contractor is attacked, and Knight (played by Katrina Law) is assigned to protect the man’s wife (guest star Brianna Brown of Outer Banks, The CW’s Dynasty and, yes, NCIS: New Orleans once upon a time).

NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder teased this episode in TVLine’s pre-season interview, calling it a “Miss Congeniality-type, odd couple episode.
“Knight is assigned as protective detail to this very demanding, DINK-y socialite,” the EP said, and as the episode unfolds, “the socialite learns how to be a rough-and-tumble hostage negotiator, and Knight maybe learns that the world of DINK-y socialites isn’t exactly what she thinks.”
In the exclusive clip above, Brown’s character suggests that Knight is using her career to “hide from something” — be it a meaningful relationship or “proper skincare.” All Knight wants, however, is for Mrs. Martin to lay low until the threat against her and her husband has been identified and contained. So you can imagine Jess’ surprise when her ward slips off for a quick change into tennis whites!
