Tennessee native Thrasher, the San Diego Monster Energy AMA Supercross round winner and 5th overall in the 250SX West Supercross series, started the AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Pala/Fox Raceway for the first time in two years and finished 7th. The following week, he had a practice crash at The Farm that broke his collarbone and bent the plate that was already in there. He raced the following weekend at Hangtown to finish 11th before getting it checked out and acknowledged that surgery was needed to fix it.
The 4x 250SX winner is qualified 20th in the 250SMX combined points ahead of this weekend. It will be good to have Nate back on track at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, having his first go at the SMX Playoffs since missing the inaugural season last year due to injuries and recovery.
