The juicy MAFS moment you didn’t see

Married at First Sight fans were treated to one of the most drama-filled episodes of the series on Wednesday, as contestants dealt with one of the most sordid affair attempts yet.

But another potentially-juicy confrontation was never shown on screen, and we’ve been left scratching our heads as to why it was edited out.

The secret chat was revealed by Jessika Power in an Instagram post and shows her – wine in hand – on the receiving end of some advice from a comparatively level-headed Cam Merchant.

In the post, the pair are shown sitting stoically on a lavish brown leather couch in what appears to be a scene which never made it to air.

“Dr Cam giving me some much needed advice,” she captioned the post.

Cam, who’s gained a reputation throughout the series for his calm demeanour and ability to avoid drama, also has the advantage of a rock-solid relationship with on-screen wife Jules.

This was reflected in the comments with now-rejected contestant Ines calling him a ‘beautiful man’.

But regardless of the advice offered, it did little to deter Jessika’s dramatic antics – which centred largely on her affair with fellow married contestant, Dan.

The messy aftermath of the pair’s steamy kiss saw Jessika clash heads with both Dan’s wife Tamara and – quite literally – Cyrell Paule.

In an attempt to expose Jess’ previous quips about wanting to sleep with Dan to the rest of the group, Cyrell called her out in front of the whole dining room.

After the confrontation, Jess was forced to face Tamara in a round-in-circles discussion even Cam’s words of wisdom had no chance of saving.
