Pete gives Tyson a job

Celebrity chef Pete Evans has reportedly given MKR’s villain Tyson Murr a job at his Brisbane restaurant Asana.

The controversial contestant allegedly applied for a casual cooking role and was hired by Pete before appearing on the reality TV show as angry Tyson.

However, the 26-year-old’s Channel Seven contract prohibits him from starting work at Asana until the show ends, The Daily Telegraph reports.

The job news comes after MKR judges Manu and Pete gave Queensland siblings Tyson and Amy perfect 10s for their three courses, beating Adelaide's Tim and Kyle’s “best score ever” by two points.

“I’ve never done that before,” Pete told the record-breaking contestants.

If Tyson wasn’t cocky enough throughout the show, this win will no doubt give him enough fuel to last until the end of the series.

Viewers thought the blonde Aussie, who’s been dubbed “The Angry Man,” would lose it in the kitchen and produce “average” food.

And while Tyson has been consistent in giving us many angry on-screen moments, he and Amy have produced outstanding food.

Obviously good enough to not only score Tyson a job, but make MKR history!

The pair shocked fellow contestants with an entré of lamb’s brain with cauliflower puree, Sriracha aioli and pickles, and produced the most insane main course of pig’s jowl with eggplant puree, pumpkin puree, pommes frites and apple cider.

The unusual offal offerings immediately won Pete over.

“The first mouthful I had, it was the best mouthful I’ve had in this competition of anything,” Pete said.

Their dessert of raspberry coulis with marshmallow, meringue and pretzel bits and sponge cake, sorbet, ice cream AND chocolate shavings was simply the icing on the cake.

“What does it mean to you, Tyson?” Pete asked, alluding to his massive win.

“That I’m not full of sh**,” he smirked.
