Miranda Kerr is a 'Lucky Girl'
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom stepped out together at the Global Green Awards in LA on June 4.
After a busy few weeks of work commitments and red-carpet events, Miranda Kerr made time to catch up with family. Kerr led a four-generation family reunion when she joined her parents, Therese and John, and grandparents, Peter and Ann, for lunch in Los Angeles on June 4. For the laid-back model the chance to reconnect with her beloved family clearly called for a celebration. As did the opportunity to catch up on cuddles with her chipmunk-cheeked 5-month-old son: “First night away from Flynn,” she tweeted on May 31 from Korea, where she was publicising Kia’s new hybrid car. “Miss him so much already.”
A few hours after the family reuinion, Kerr, 28, changed into orange Christian Dior to join her husband of 11 months, Orlando Bloom, 34, for an eco-friendly date night at Global Green USA’s annual Millennium Awards. Holding each other close, the couple looked relaxed as they smiled widely for the cameras. Two days later, the Gunnedah, NSW-raised A-lister stepped out again, this time solo, for the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards in New York. Bloom is “such a good guy. He has a beautiful heart, and I’m a lucky girl,” Kerr, a knockout in peekaboo Michael Kors, told WHO at the ultra-glam event. “He’s very down-to-earth, very grounded. That’s what I love about him.”
