Miranda Kerr & James Packer Secretly Dating: Report

Australian businessman James Packer, 46, and supermodel Miranda Kerr, 30, are dating, sources tell The Daily Telegraph.

Ketr, who recently announced her split from British actor Orlando Bloom after three years of marriage, has been "secretly dating" longtime friend James Packer, 46, who split from his model wife, Erica Baxter, three months ago.

"'I'm seeing Miranda Kerr,'" The Daily Telegraph claims Packer recently told mates.

"Miranda may come across as an Earth Mother but she loves the high life and James can provide the sort of lifestyle and security very few could give her," a source told The Telegraph of the unlikely duo. "They're perfect for each other."

Before striking up a romance - which sources say came about "very recently" - Kerr and Packer were friends, with their respective families holidaying together in Bora Bora in May 2012. It's understood that Packer also offered business advice to Kerr in the lead up to the launch of her successful organic beauty line, KORA Organics.

Kerr and Bloom announced they had split" in October. "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the past few months," a statement released by Bloom's representative read. "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation."

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," the statement continued.

The couple, who quietly married in 2010, have since been photographed together with son Flynn, 2.
