Mina Starsiak Hawk is reflecting on how grateful she is for her family of four.
On Sunday, May 12, the Good Bones interior designer shared a Reel on her Instagram on Mother's Day, taking a minute to share her gratitude for her son Jack, 5, and daughter Charlie, 3, who she shares with husband Steve Hawk.
"I never grew up dreaming of my wedding dress or white picket fence or my future kids names, but my goodness are these two my dream come true. They’re all the best parts of me and make me a better human every day," Starsiak Hawk wrote.
"Jack also smoked me into the face two days ago when he couldn’t buy a toy at Target so there’s that. But we take the good with the underdevelopment impulse control 🤷🏼♀️ #realtalk," she wrote, concluding by wishing others a happy Mother's Day.

In 2018, the couple welcomed their son together, announcing the news of his arrival on Instagram. “Aaaand we’ve got a baby 😍🤗😍🤗,” Starsiak Hawk wrote alongside photos of her and her husband holding Jack in the hospital.
In the process of trying for a second baby, the pair were told that Starsiak Hawk had less than a 1 percent chance of getting pregnant and tried in vitro fertilization (IVF), but unfortunately, it failed. At the start of 2020, the pair sought a second opinion and were suggested to try intrauterine insemination (IUI) instead.
“We wanted to try one more time,” she said. “And then I think we both would have been okay and settled with being done, but the one more time worked.”
Shortly after, the couple found out the treatment was successful when she took a test, and it was positive.
"When I told [Steve] I was pregnant with Jack, he just started crying. When I told him I was pregnant this time, it was shock," she said of the moment.
Starsiak Hawk added, “There were so many happy tears. We are incredibly lucky.”
After struggling with infertility, the couple welcomed their daughter, Charlotte "Charlie" Drew Hawk, on Sept. 16, 2020.
"She's here! And she's perfect! We are just obsessed with our little family and can't wait for Jack to be the best big brother to sweet Charlie," the couple told PEOPLE at the time.
