Millie Bobby Brown Makes High-shine Statements With Cult Gaia Sequin Cocktail Dress and Engagement Ring on ‘Tonight Show’
Millie Bobby Brown sparkled in more ways than one on Thursday during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” While promoting her new Netflix movie “Damsel,” the actress shimmered in an ombré pink dress embellished with allover sequins by Cult Gaia. The brand’s Carletta cocktail dress features an exposed back with asymmetric straps around the bottom to enhance movement.
The actress accessorized with sheer tights and a pair of pointy-toe black pumps by Steve Madden and Rainbow K gold and white diamond earrings.

In the interview, the 20-year-old told Fallon the details of her engagement, which happened underwater. Brown recalled when her fiancé Jake Bongiovi proposed on vacation while they went diving. Bongiovi, the son of Jon Bon Jovi, hid the engagement ring on the underside of a shell. Once they resurfaced, he asked the “Stranger Things” actress to marry him, and then gave Brown her own mother’s ring. “It was magical,” she told Fallon. “We just looked so disheveled coming out from a dive.”
Earlier this year, the business woman launched her fashion label Florence by Mills Fashion. Created in collaboration with Delta Galil, the debut collection featured loungewear and basics.
“That is my everyday wardrobe, which was kind of why it was so easy for me,” she told WWD at the launch. “I wear loungewear every single day. I don’t wear jeans — my fiancé rarely sees me in jeans. I am always in loungewear when I go to work, when I’m going to the grocery store, on dog walks. When it’s summer and I’m not wearing sweatpants or a hoodie, I want to wear something that’s still loungewear but is cooler. So, we created an array of wonderful, comfortable stretchy materials and products,”
It is the latest step in her growing lifestyle brand, which spans fragrance, beauty, coffee and more.
