Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his family have had a lot to celebrate.
The Jersey Shore star, 41, enjoyed a special celebration for daughter Mia Bella, commemorating both her first birthday and her christening on Sunday. The soon-to-be family of five was joined by loved ones at the Water Club in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey.
Sharing photos from the special day exclusively with PEOPLE, the couple raved about how great of a time they had and all the wonderful people who helped make it possible, including event planner Meena Lee.
“We had such a beautiful day celebrating our sweet Mia Bella’s Christening and 1st birthday! With the help of all of our vendors, we created a whimsical winter ONEderland with balloons, a build-your-own snowman station, a soft play area, bubbles, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, and so much more. It was a 1-year-old’s dream!" they tell PEOPLE.

"We loved celebrating Mia Bella’s milestones with our closest family and friends before we welcome our second baby girl this Spring," the pair, who are also parents to son Romeo Reign, 2½, continue.
"The Situations have so much to be thankful for!" the pair says.
Photos from the event show the older brother of the birthday girl having a blast with the ball pit, set up by Tumbling Tikes, personalized to include Mia's birthday and match the Winter One-derland theme.
The event also included a dessert table — adorned with flowers bv Fine Flowers — with offerings from The Vintage Cake and Divine Coffee. The snowman table, provided by The Kids Table NJ, was a fun treat that many guests enjoyed.
The Sorrentinos were supported by some very special guests, with Mike posing with Jersey Shore costars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese, and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola.
The reality star also posed for some family photos, with the pair's children dressed by Baby Beau and Belle + Belle Threads. The family smiled in front of a beautiful, neutral balloon display designed by Loona Balloons.
Last month, the reality star reflected on his sobriety journey, sharing an Instagram post where he enjoyed a quiet moment with his son.
"My biggest flex is being a sober dad," the reality star captioned the sweet shot.
In November, the family of four shared a photo together, posing in front of the Italian-flag-painted garage door of the iconic Shore House as they revealed that the couple's third baby will be a little girl.
Over the summer, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star spoke with PEOPLE at the show’s premiere, reflecting on what turning 41 over the summer meant to him.
“I'll be honest with you. I'm happy to make it this far,” Sorrentino said. “I was so wild in my twenties and thirties that being the family man that I am today — being eight years sober in December, a dad of two, married five years in a happy, healthy marriage — I'm killing the game.”
Mike and Lauren have a long history that began well before Mike's Jersey Shore days. He and Lauren dated for four years before he was cast on the hit MTV reality series, but they broke up shortly before filming began. From there, Mike was a single man best known as "The Situation."
One year after the show's finale, they rekindled their relationship and have been together ever since. The couple wed in November 2018 and Lauren has been by Mike's side through his federal charge of tax evasion, an eight-month prison sentence and his ongoing sobriety journey.
"She's my best friend, my better half," Mike said in 2018. "She makes me a better person. I'm so excited that she's in my life." Lauren added, "When I met Mike, I met him as a person and not as a celebrity. So I've always known him at his core — him being the most giving and loving family-type of guy in his soul."
