Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke has married girlfriend Kyly Boldy.

The cricketer made the announcement on Twitter tonight, revealing the pair wed in front of family yesterday.

An ecstatic Clarke didn't hold back his excitement as he announced the power couple’s marriage to the Twittersphere.

“Happiest guy in the world. Married @KylyBoldy yesterday in front of our gorgeous families. Couldn't be happier!” Clarke posted.

Reciprocating the affection, Boldy wrote "Luckiest Woman in the world! Married @MClarke23 on the 15th of May 2012. Greatest day of my life, so proud to be your Wife."

While the wedding remains clouded in mystery, Clarke shared details about what the bride and groom wore late last night. "Thank you everyone for your very kind messages," he wrote, "Kyly heavily designed her own dress with good friend Alex Perry and I wore Louis Vuitton."

Taking to Twitter for the first time today, Boldy thanked followers for their well wishes.

As announced last night, Clarke and Boldy married in a secret ceremony on May 15.
