The look was similar to her 2025 White House portrait outfit, which also featured a Dolce & Gabbana blazer with Ralph Lauren cummerbund and trousers. Trump’s official portrait was unveiled in January. She was shot in black and white by Belgian photographer Régine Mahaux.
The first lady has a long relationship with Dolce & Gabbana. She wore multiple looks from the brand during her first time in the White House, including during her meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2019 and at the Mar-a-lago’s New Year’s Eve party in 2017.
Since the second inauguration of Donald Trump, his wife has been seen in outfits created by Adam Lippes, Herve Pierre, Prada and Valentino.
The White House Governors’ Dinner served as a platform for governors to discuss common issues. The event was held in the East Room, which is often used for state dinners honoring visiting heads of state. Attendees included governors Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Josh Shapiro and Josh Stein, among others.
