Meghan Markle's ex-husband remarries in lavish wedding
Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, has remarried, just one week before his ex-wife and her husband, Prince Harry, are set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
The 42-year-old talent manager walked down the aisle at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California on Sunday, and said ‘I do’ to his 32-year-old heiress and nutritionist love, Tracey Kurland.
Friends of the pair took to social media to post pictures and videos, with Million Dollar Listing star, Tracy Tutor, giving everyone a glimpse inside the couple’s big day.
Trevor, who wore a tuxedo and a bow tie for the occasion, can be seen beaming in a video as he walks up the aisle being linked by his mum and dad.
Then, Tracey enters the room, which has been adorned with fairy lights, looking stunning in an off-the-shoulder lace gown.
Guests were then treated to a dinner of caesar salad, brioche bun burgers and french fries to share, before the dancing began.
In keeping with Jewish traditions, Trevor and Tracey were hoisted up on chairs in the middle of the dancefloor and held hands while they were celebrated.
Wedding rehearsal images showed Trevor looking happy and absolutely smitten ahead of his big day.
The Hollywood producer wore a striking pink suit, while his fiancee stunned in a gorgeous laced gown.
Trevor proposed to Tracey last June, just weeks after his ex-wife tied the knot in a lavish Windsor Castle wedding.
Meghan Markle and Trevor’s love story began in 2004, when they crossed paths at Northwestern University in Illinois, where they were both studying.
Seven years later, the pair took the plunge and tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The epic celebrations took place mostly on the beach and went on for four days, with over 100 friends and family of the couple in attendance - however the actual ceremony is said to have only last about 15 minutes.
But, fast-forward just two years after they said ‘I do’, and the pair had gone their separate ways, citing 'irreconcilable differences' on their divorce papers.
Rumours have previously swirled that Meghan’s career might have been to blame for their divorce, with her breakthrough role on Suits taking her away from their home in LA and to Toronto, Canada.
Trevor is said to have remained in LA while his new wife commuted between the couple’s home and her film set.
In an explosive segment in royal biographer Andrew Morton's book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, he wrote, "He [Trevor] went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, ‘Feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe’."
“Whether she wanted to admit it to herself or not, Meghan, who once said she couldn’t imagine life without Trevor by her side, was now building a new world for herself.”
He also claimed that Meghan “sent Trevor her diamond wedding and engagement rings back by registered mail.”
