Meghan Markle reportedly annoyed she can’t comment on her family drama
Meghan Markle’s father has become no stranger to the press after his numerous interviews expressing his opinions towards the royal family and speculation on how Meghan feels.
It seems to have become a habit of Thomas Markle Sr. and one that the Duchess of Sussex allegedly resents particularly because she is restricted from doing anything to stop him.
Since marrying into the royal family with Prince Harry in May, there have been many royal rules by which Meghan has to abide by that have restricted her from having any political stances, wearing dresses without pantyhose and being able to do as she pleases.
However, according to a close source of the Duchess, the one rule that has frustrated her the most is the one that has stopped her from addressing all the drama surrounding her dad.
“She doesn’t have her own publicist, she can’t make any comments on Twitter and she can’t reach out to him to tell him to stop speaking to the press,” the source told Us Weekly.
“Her father’s comments have an effect on everything.”
For the most part, Meghan’s annoyances are completely understandable considering the rumours surrounding staged paparazzi stunts, faked heart attacks prior to their wedding and his numerous paid interviews where he hinted that his daughter is miserable as a royal.
However, her father claims he is only doing interviews because he has been isolated from the royal family.
While he claims all he wants is for his daughter to speak to him, we can’t imagine it would be a warm reaction, let alone stop him from talking to any more press.
