The Bachelorette is back — and with some familiar faces!

Season 21 follows Jenn Tran’s pursuit of love after being eliminated in week seven of Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor. Among her 25 suitors this season is Aaron Erb, who is the twin brother of Noah Erb, a former Bachelorette contestant himself.

Aaron announced he joined the cast of The Bachelorette in June 2024, launching his new era as the “lovERBoy.”

“Sorry been a lil MIA trying to locate this thing called love 💗,” he wrote alongside a headshot of himself for the show. “I’m excited to announce the lovERBoy has entered the chat.”

In addition to his work as an engineer, Aaron is passionate about golf and fitness and is ready to find love.

“When Aaron isn’t working hard building satellites to send into space, he loves spending time on the lake, playing volleyball and perfecting his golf game,” his official bio on ABC reads. “This engineer says he’s emotionally available and is ready to meet the girl of his dreams.”

So who is Aaron Erb? Here’s everything to know about one of the 25 men vying for Jenn’s heart — and his relation to a former Bachelor Nation contestant.

He is from Oklahoma

Aaron grew up in Tulsa, Okla., with his 11 siblings. After attending college at Oklahoma State University, Aaron moved to Manhattan Beach, Calif., where he lived intermittently for seven years.

In October 2023, Aaron bought a house in Tulsa, moving back home to where the majority of his family — including his brother, Noah — resides.

“After 7 years away it feels good to come back home to a place that I love and know,” he wrote on Instagram alongside photos of him in front of his house. “Excited for a new start and can’t wait to fill this house up with friends, memories, and lots and lots of fresh brewed coffee smells 😊.”

He is an aerospace engineer

Aaron graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in fire safety and safety engineering technology, per his LinkedIn. He has since worked as a system safety engineer for United Launch Alliance and, most recently, as a space vehicle systems engineer for Northrop Grumman.

“I love everything to do with aviation, it’s so cool,” Aaron said in his Bachelorette promotional video clip.

Aaron’s twin brother, Noah Erb, appeared on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise

Aaron isn’t the only Erb to make his reality debut on The Bachelorette. His twin brother, Noah, first joined Bachelor Nation in season 16 before he was sent home during week seven. He then went on to star in the cast of Bachelor in Paradise season 7.

Though Noah didn’t find love on The Bachelorette, he was more successful on Bachelor in Paradise where he began dating former Bachelor contestant Abigail Heringer. The two left the show broken up, but they reunited soon after and got engaged in August 2023.

Now, the couple plan to marry in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa in the fall of 2024, Abigail told PEOPLE in May.

He is close to his family, including his 11 siblings

Noah isn’t Aaron’s only sibling. The Tulsa native has 10 other brothers and sisters and is an uncle to at least eight nieces and nephews, whom he regularly posts on his Instagram.

“Feel so thankful to have such a great family to come home to,” Aaron wrote alongside a photo of his family celebrating Thanksgiving in November 2022. “Missing 4 siblings at the function this year but you’d never know based on the size of the group. Times like these make you really count your blessings in life, with family being at the top of the list.”

However, Aaron is particularly close to Noah, calling him his “best friend” in his birthday tribute in November 2023.

“We may not look or act as much alike as we once did and anyone who knows us will say how different we are, but you’ll always be my best friend and the one who knows me like nobody else can,” he wrote.

He is passionate about fitness and spreading positivity

In addition to being an engineer, Aaron is also passionate about promoting mental health and positivity on his social media platforms. He often shares his workout routine and motivation to stay fit, while also sharing personal aspects of his life.

In 2023, Aaron started chronicling his daily cold plunges into his pool, sharing that he went in regardless of “whether I’m feeling it or it’s dark cold rainy snowy,” he wrote in a November 2023 post.

Two months later, Aaron addressed the criticism he received that he was “thirst-trapping” by posting videos and photos of himself shirtless doing his cold plunges. He shared that he was trying to be vulnerable and motivate people to stay driven in their goals, rather than focus on his body.

“I post it to maybe encourage someone else or for people to interact with and tell me I’m weird or whatever,” he explained. “I make all these posts about you’re not your body, your looks don’t define you, like who cares how fit you are…deep down I just want to help people.”

He is following in his brother’s footsteps on The Bachelorette

In his promotional video, Aaron said he was inspired to join The Bachelorette after seeing how the process worked for his brother.

“It did work for Noah, he’s engaged,” he said. “So I’m hoping it’ll work for me.”

“When you feel comfortable and you feel like hey there’s nothing in life we want more than this, that’s when I’m like ‘Yeah, let’s do it,’ ” he added.
