An Australian influencer is making waves across the cashed-up world of Premier League football, after it emerged she secretly married one of its most prominent rising stars.

Sarah Kohan, also known as the ‘moonstrucktraveller’, and West Ham striker Javier Hernandez, are just weeks away from welcoming their first child after they tied the knot in a secret Californian ceremony earlier this month.

“Yes, we got married,” Kohan coyly captioned an Instagram post, adding, “Nothing to hide. Happy weekend to everyone.”

Despite the pair’s loved-up status having now put them on the same life trajectory, their upbringings were quite literally worlds apart.

While 25-year-old Sarah grew up near Sydney’s famed sandy beaches, her new hubby, 30, was born and raised in the historical city of Guadalajara in central Mexico.

Javier now earns a reported AU$260,000 a week playing for both Westham and the Mexican national team, following a previous five-year stint at Manchester United.

He recently celebrated scoring his 50th Premier League goal – 37 of which were for Westham.

“You always aim and dream about big achievements and big numbers, but I never thought I would get 50 Premier League goals,” he said in an interview with the team’s website.

Off-field however, the couple have one thing firmly on their mind – the arrival of their first child, a baby boy, in less than two months.

“Cannot believe we are in the 3rd trimester already!! “We can’t wait to meet you baby boy!!” Sarah wrote on Instagram.

Throughout her well-documented pregnancy, Sarah has gained attention across social media for proudly displaying her bump in a series of Instagram posts.

But the past few months are far from the first time the law graduate found fame online.

Her first brush with notoriety came in 2016 after she began posting pictures with exotic marine life during her far flung travels.

“My favourite destinations have always consisted of places that I have been fortunate enough to encounter a variety of wildlife,” she told The Sunday Telegraph at the time.

“Through my experiences I hope to bring awareness to local wildlife, especially by trying to break the stigma surrounding sharks.”

Her commitment to wildlife saw Sarah’s follower count skyrocket from a relatively modest 20,000 to a colossal 1.3million in less than three years.

Sarah’s other passion continues to be her academic discipline – law – and once revealed her career goal is to work at the International Criminal Courts in the Netherlands.
