‘Mean Girls’ Fans Are Loving Megan Thee Stallion’s Photo of Movie Universes Colliding

Worlds collided on Saturday, Jan. 20, when Megan Thee Stallion, Reneé Rapp and Rachel McAdams all appeared on Saturday Night Live, and fans loved it.
While Rapp served as the musical guest, Megan was there to perform their collab song, "Not My Fault," and McAdams showed up as a surprise to introduce Rapp.
With three Reginas in one place, they got together to re-create a well-known meme with three Spider-Mans standing in a triangle pointing at each other, and Megan thankfully shared the snap on her Instagram grid.
The rapper captioned the photo, "Cause huhhh 🥹 all the Reginas in one room 🤭💖 #snl."
As the original Regina George from the 2004 Mean Girls film, it was only fitting that McAdams connect with Rapp, who plays the same character in the new musical film adaptation.
As for Megan, she often refers to herself as "the Black Regina George." She also starred in a Coach campaign in 2021 that was an homage to Mean Girls and Regina.

The excitement from fans in the comments was extensive, with comments like, "ITS A REGINA OFF 😆😆😆," "all of my mothers in one room," and "This is historic 🤌🏾🤌🏾."
"They will hang this picture in museums," said another of the iconic moment.
Others were amazed by the whole episode of Saturday Night Live, which also featured Jacob Elordi as host, with a top-liked comment reading, "jacob elordi, renee rapp, rachel mcadams and megan thee stallion all on snl… this episode was for the girlies and bisexuals 😭🩷."
Mean Girls has been a hot topic recently for a variety of reasons. Along with the new musical film, 2024 is also the 20th anniversary of the memorable film. While some of the original cast reunited for a witty and fun commercial last year, fans are still clamoring for an official sequel, although nothing is currently in development.
