McDonald’s Menu Is Getting Overhauled for 2025

McDonald's just revealed its plans to completely refresh a portion of its menus.

On Friday, the company said that come early January, customers will notice a big difference when they place an order for breakfast, lunch, or dinner—regardless of whether it's online, in the app, or at one of its some 13,500 U.S. locations.

According to the Nov. 22 press release, the Golden Arches will debut an all-new McValue Menu that includes current offers like the $5 Meal Deal, localized a-la-carte food and drink deals, exclusive in-app coupons as well as a totally customizable discount pricing on bundles with its new Buy One, Add One for $1 menu.

McDonald's BOGO for $1 deal is valid across all three meal times and offers customers the option to choose from several of the chain's most popular items.

For breakfast, fans can pick any two:

  • Sausage McMuffin

  • Sausage Biscuit

  • Sausage Burrito

  • Hash Browns

While its lunch and dinner options include:

  • 6-pc. Chicken McNuggets

  • Double Cheeseburger

  • McChicken

  • Small Fries

"When it comes to value, we know there's no one-size-fits-all. We've worked closely with our franchisees to create a new platform that will let our customers define value on their own terms," said Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald's USA, in a statement. "From deals on their personal go-to order to universal favorites like the $5 Meal Deal, we're excited to give fans more ways to save every time they visit one of our restaurants."

McDonald's $5 Meal Deal was initially launched in May and has since been extended several times over, with the company confirming today that it will be renewing the offer through next summer as part of the McValue Menu.

There appear to be a lot of changes in store for Mickey Ds as the beloved burger joint not only joked, "New year, new menu"–which officially launches on Tuesday, Jan. 7–but it also announced just a few weeks ago that it would revise one of its most controversial policies.
