McDonald’s Fans Say They ‘Need All’ of the Items Featured in ‘Perfect’ New Collab

Many McDonald’s fans in the U.S. are feeling jealous of a new toy collaboration that the fast food giant recently debuted overseas.

The restaurant chain often unveils limited-time toy offerings featuring beloved characters, some of which are occasionally included in McDonald’s Happy Meals. The latest collaboration that McDonald’s introduced is with Hello Kitty and is part of a special celebration marking the 50 years that the chain has now spent operating in Hong Kong.

The four new plush toys feature McDonald’s versions of the Sanrio character, including Hello Kitty wearing costumes to look like Grimace and the Hamburglar. Snackolator shared an image showing the two costumes in question as they appeared on the plush dolls. McDonald’s Hong Kong also teased the new release on Instagram last week by posting a promotional image showing a take-out cup and French fry holder, both of which featured images of Hello Kitty dressed as the two McDonald’s characters.

The food blogger described the “perfect” Hello Kitty collaboration as “one of the cutest” they "have ever seen.” The collection is available now for a limited time to customers in Hong Kong, Snackolator added while posting about the new release on Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 11.

“Omg yes. I need the Grimace Kitty. 💜🐱,” one fan wrote as another described the toys as “too cute” and a third simply wrote, “😮🔥 NEED!”

“So cute, they need to bring that to America,” another Facebook user agreed.
