While we’re all for embracing our natural beauty and letting our skin glow, sometimes we all just love a bit of foundation to reduce the appearance of pores and gives our skin an airbrushed look.
Step forward Maybelline FITme Matte + Poreless Foundation, which is currently on sale at Woolworths for $11, and is a cult essential for oily skinned women everywhere.
The foundation is suitable for normal to oily skin but if you struggle with sebum levels throughout the day, this tiny bottle will be your best friend, as it promises to control excess shine.
It contains micro-powders and blue technology to really smooth our your appearance.
Over 2,000 people have left reviews of the foundation on Maybelline’s site, with many saying it’s their favourite foundation, however others are claiming they still haven’t found their perfect shade, despite there being 14 colous in the range,
“When I ran out again recently I thought I’d “treat” myself to a new higher end foundation of a very well known brand. Well I’ve been using said product for a few weeks now, and of course most people would assume a product with a higher price tag to have better results, not the case! I will be going back to Fit Me (I always do!). For reference, I have combination skin with hyper pigmentation and acne scars. The coverage is buildable and it does a great job at covering my redness,” one 32-year-old woman said in the comments.
“Wow I bought this foundation as there was a huge Maybelline sale on so I thought I’d give it a go as so many of my friends had told me about it. I previously bought the fit me foundation and didn’t enjoy it but thought I’d give it another go as this was the new fit me matte. I LOVE IT! The colour matches my skin so well and has an amazing yellow undertone (sun beige). It’s not cakey and you don’t need to use much at all! I agree with another review in terms of packaging, I’d love to see it have a pump bottle to minimise wastage. I’d recommend this product especially for those who are wanting an affordable and easy to apply foundation,” another person said.
On the other hand, people found the foundation “cakey” and said they were left with dry patches on their skin throughout the day.
