‘Matter Of Fact With Soledad O’Brien’ To End After Current Season
Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien will end its run in syndication in August, as the Hearst public affairs show concludes a decade-long run.
O’Brien joined the weekly series in its second season. The show is produced by Hearst Media Production Group and distributed by Sony Pictures Television, and has won a number of awards, including the NATPE Iris Award of Excellence.

The show differed from other weekend public affairs shows, with its emphasis on reported, in-depth segments on major issues.
In a statement, O’Brien said that she would continue to work on projects for Hearst.
Frank Biancuzzo, president of Hearst, said, “We have new projects in development with Soledad and are looking forward to what’s ahead in continuing our successful partnership.”
Rita Aleman served as executive producer of the show.
