After a very dramatic season of My Kitchen Rules, Matt Gawthrop & Luke Stewart came out on top and won the 2019 series on Sunday night.

The intense grand finale saw the cricket mates go head-to-head with the very competitive Ibby and Romel, but with a score of 92 out of 100, they managed to take out the winner’s prize.

“We’ve bloody worked hard for this, haven’t we? This is going to change our lives,” Luke said after they discovered they’d won the cooking competition.

Meanwhile Ibby and Romel were so close, finishing with a score of 88 out of 100.

The controversial team, who were known for strategic scoring throughout the series, said there were no hard feelings whatsoever.

“Congratulations. We are so happy for the boys. We are not ashamed of losing because I’m so proud of what we have done,” said Ibby.
