Yahoo Lifestyle Matt and Josie Leinart Welcome Baby No. 3, a Girl: ‘Worth the Wait’ (Exclusive)
The couple tells PEOPLE that their baby girl was "the missing puzzle piece to the Leinart family," and her birth makes their family "complete"
Matt and Josie Leinart have expanded their family!
The former Buffalo Bills quarterback, 41, and the Make It or Break It actress, 37, welcomed a baby girl, Camila May Leinart, on Sunday, Feb. 2, completing their family of seven.
"Baby #3 was worth the wait. Now our family is complete!" the couple exclusively shares with PEOPLE. "Our boys have been a blessing, and we feel so lucky to welcome the missing puzzle piece to the Leinart family. We could not be happier."

With the addition of their baby girl, Matt and Josie officially became a family of seven. The pair, who wed in 2018, previously welcomed two boys, Cannon, 3, and Cayson, 5. Matt also shares his 18-year-old son Cole with his ex-girlfriend Brynn Cameron.
Each of the boys had their own unique reaction to the news of a new addition to the family. Cole was looking forward to the new baby and was rooting for a girl the entire pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Cayson was more interested in "the presents that Baby Leinart is going to bring him," but being that he's an "amazing older brother to Cannon," the couple admits they weren't worried. Their youngest, Cannon, has always loved babies and is "so excited to graduate to Big Brother status."
As for the proud parents, Matt and Josie say they're ready for this new chapter in their life.
"Josie is a super Mom!" Matt says of his wife. "The fact that she can balance a career as a lawyer, making everyone laugh on social media and being incredibly present and nurturing for all the kids inspires me every day."
The lawyer announced she was expecting her third child with the former NFL player in a hilarious Instagram video on Monday, Aug. 12. The couple started the video by sharing how easy life has been with their young children “sleeping through the night" and "potty trained. The two quipped that they can "finally shove [their] kids' faces into iPads and enjoy" reality TV.
Matt and Josie then switched gears, saying that they "knew we had to make a change" and declared they “decided to f--- s--- up.” The video then cuts to the couple dancing with the sonogram and a pregnancy test to DJ Khaled’s "All I Do Is Win," featuring Ludacris, Rick Ross, T-Pain and Snoop Dogg.
The pair decided to wait to find out the baby's sex until she was born. After learning that they had added a "beautiful healthy baby girl" to their family of boys, Matt and Josie were "overwhelmed with joy and excitement."
"Keeping the gender a secret was so fun!" Josie tells PEOPLE. "Everyone had an opinion as to what they thought Baby was. For us though, we genuinely didn’t care whether Baby #3 was a boy or a girl. We believe that giving birth to a healthy baby is a miracle in and of itself and felt so blessed to grow our family one more time."
