Yahoo Lifestyle Martin Lawrence Says Eddie Murphy Told Him That He's 'Gotta Pay' for Their Kids' Wedding
Lawrence revealed on the 'Big Boy's Neighborhood' podcast that Murphy told him it's his turn to pay for a wedding

During an appearance the Thursday, Dec. 5 episode of iHeartRadio's Big Boy's Neighborhood, Martin Lawrence said that Eddie Murphy is making him pay for their kids' wedding because the Shrek star has already paid for so many of his other children's big days.
"Well, Eddie said I gotta pay for it," Martin revealed on the radio show. "He said I gotta pay for it 'cause he paid for his last daughter's wedding, like the last six weddings."
"He said it's my turn now," the comedian continued.

He is also father to eight other children, including five with his ex-wife, Nicole Murphy — son Myles, 32, and daughters Bria, 35, Shayne, 30, Zola, 24, and Bella, 22. Murphy shares sons Eric, 35, and Christian, 34, with former partners Paulette McNeely and Tamara Hood. Murphy also has a daughter named Angel, 17, with ex-girlfriend Mel B.
Meanwhile, Martin has three daughters. He shares his eldest daughter, Jasmin, 28, with his first wife Patricia Southall, former Miss Virginia USA. He shares daughters Iyanna, 24, and Amara, 22, with his second wife, Shamicka Gibbs, a TV personality and entrepreneur whom he married in 2010.

Even though host Kurt Alexander, who is better known as "Big Boy," pointed out that the weddings of Eddie's other children have nothing to do with Martin, he said he doesn't mind paying for the wedding.

He also shared that the newly engaged couple do not have a date for their wedding yet.
Eddie's son popped the question to Martin's daughter on Nov. 27 in a room filled with candles and roses.
In a sweet video of the proposal, Eric gets down on one knee and opens a ring box, prompting Jasmin to say, “It’s beautiful. Oh my gosh,” before exclaiming“yes” and sharing a kiss with newly-minted fiancé.
