Martha Stewart Dished On the "Especially Attractive" Stars She's Had Crushes On
She says there's one leading man who's stood the test of time.
Martha Stewart is dishing on her celebrity crushes. While the TV personality and domestic goddess has had legions of fans following her every recipe and lifestyle tip over the years, she admitted she’s been left starstruck during her decades-long career by an “especially attractive” roster of actors.
In an interview with People, Stewart—who will be launching her 100th cookbook, Martha: The Cookbook, on November 12—opened up about the “many fabulous movie stars” she’s had on her show. The entrepreneur was the first to say she doesn’t get nervous, telling the publication, “I'm not very fearful of anything. I like intermingling with people. I like going on television. I like being interviewed. I like all that stuff.”
However, she revealed there were three actors who left her speechless with their good looks, although she said only one really stands the test of time in her mind.”
“When Russell Crowe came on, he was still fit and gorgeous, just having done maybe Gladiator,” Stewart said about having the A Beautiful Mind actor on her show in 2008. “He was pretty attractive.”
She also revealed that she was a fan of Matthew McConaughey, whom she interviewed along with her BFF Snoop Dogg and Method Man in 2019, calling him still “pretty attractive.”
Lastly, the cookbook author called out Risky Business and Top Gun-era Tom Cruise, who “in his first movies was so cute and attractive” while reflecting on “all those memories of especially attractive actors.”
Stewart has made no secret of her appreciation for a charismatic leading man.
In 2023, she called Brad Pitt her top celebrity crush after she admitted to Entertainment Tonight that she liked to peruse photos of the Ocean’s Eleven actor on Instagram.
“I think he’s aging beautifully. Sorry, Brad, you’re still young but you are getting older,” she said.
Just months earlier in November 2022, she also had a hard time picking between Drake and Pete Davidson when host Jimmy Fallon posed the question on an episode of The Tonight Show.
“They’re very, very different people,” she told him. “One is a funny man. One is a song man. They’re very different and they’re both extremely attractive and pleasant and fun to be with. And charming fellows.”
