MAFS groom takes a dig at cheating ex wife

Former Married At First Sight groom Ryan Gallagher has spoken about his relationship with his ex-wife, Davina Rankin, who famously cheated on him while they were both on the show.

Ryan, who is currently a contestant on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, opened up about his wild ride being married to Davina while the pair were coupled up on MAFS in 2018.

He also revealed his shock when Davina dropped a bombshell on him as they were on the way back from their luxurious honeymoon.

“We were on the honeymoon, and we were intimate and stuff on the honeymoon. You sort of get lost in the moment,” Ryan told his fellow campmates.

“And as we were flying back from the honeymoon, as we were landing, she goes: ‘You know, when we get back we meet other people and you can hook up with anyone’.

“And I was like: ‘I don't think that...!’”

The clearly annoyed star went on to say that he then found out Davina was seeing fellow MAFS groom Dean Wells on the Channel Nine show.

“I had to live with her for another week, had to meet my parents, knowing that she’d just cheated on me,” Ryan continued.

“I had to take her to my parents' place and I've only introduced like four girls to my family. I didn't tell mum and dad what happened because I knew they would treat her different, so I just left it.”

Ryan claims Davina ended up telling his mum everything and she “started crying and everything”.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Davina, who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Mila-Mae Manuel in November, said she wasn’t letting Ryan’s comments affect her at all.

“I haven't heard or watched anything, so I don't actually know what you're talking about. I don't need to make any comment, it's pretty irrelevant to me,” she said.
