The Highest-Paid Models of 2015 Have Been Revealed

Forbes has released their annual list of the highest earning models, and no surprises here but Gisele Bundchen took out the top spot for 2015.

Despite officially retiring from the runway this year, the former Victoria's Secret Angel still managed to earn a cool $US44 million (that's over $AUD61.3 million) this year alone.

The Brazilian bombshell, who has been in the top spot since 2002, continues her reign thanks to a number of lucrative contracts including Chanel, Balenciaga, Carolina Herrera and Emilio Pucci, as well as a number of business ventures including the jelly sandals she designs for Brazilian shoe company Grendene, as well as her line of lingerie, Gisele Bundchen Intimates.

Coming in equal second was Cara Delevingne and Adriana Lima, who both tied at $US9 million (about $AUD12.5 million).

Also making the list for the first time this year was Kendall Jenner, at just 19 she is the youngest model to make the list, earning an impressive $US4 million in 2015.

"Kendall’s generation is more influenced by digital media than television, magazines or any other forms of advertising,” says Chris Gay, general manager of The Society Management, which represents Jenner.

The reality-tuned-high fashion model has a whopping 58 million fans across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook –which means she's worth the big bucks, with companies realising that any campaign she appears in is likely to reach millions more.
