Nicole Trunfio and Gary Clark Jr welcomed their first child in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The supermodel announced the news via Instagram overnight, posting a simple photo of her newborn wrapped in blankets alongside the caption, "#heavensentmeanangel Gary and I welcomed our beautiful child into the world early this morning, we are so in love. Everybody is healthy and happy and the baby is as perfect as can be. Thank you to all for the love and support. #babyclark #hasarrived @garyclarkjr"
The Australian supermodel first revealed her pregnancy when she was seven months along, telling WHO magazine in November, "I'm surprised my boobs didn't give it away. I feel really great. My entire pregnancy has been good, I've been blessed. I was saying to Gary, we might have a gang of children because I feel so happy."
At the same time, Trunfio surprised fans with news of her engagement to American singer Gary Clark Jr.
"I thought he was waiting for a big moment, but it was super-simple and it was just between us," Trunfio said. "It was so sweet."
The model took to Instagram to show off her three-carat, pear-shaped diamond ring, captioning the image, '#flawless #nofilter #ivebeenwakinguplikedis'.
While there's no news on when we can expect a Trunfio/Clark wedding, the model certainly had a busy schedule last year - she wrapped filming of The Face with Naomi Campbell, launched her own jewellery line and walked the runway for Myer.
But the model's baby news is perhaps not much of a surprise - in March, Trunfio told marie claire Australia she wanted to start a family.
"I'm at a point now where I want to have children soon," Trunfio said. "I think it's about knowing your boundaries and getting to a place where you're putting 100% into the things that matter to you the most."
