No, you didn’t fall down and smack your little head on the pavement. An all-singing, all-dancing Devil Wears Prada musical is coming to Broadway, and soon.

Kevin McCollum, a producer famous for his work on Rent and Avenue Q, is currently adapting the film into a sparkly, spangly, musical-friendly version. The deal was inked as part of a wider negotiation process in 2013 with 20th Century Fox, the Hollywood Reporter reveals . As part of this deal, McCollum also hopes to turn other Fox box office hits – including Mrs Doubtfire – into musicals.

No date for the musical’s premiere has been released, and there’s no word yet on its stars. But… hear us out. We know that Anne Hathaway loves a song and dance number (she’s an Oscar-winner because of one, thanks to her turn as Fantine in Les Miserables). Could she be lured to the Broadway stage to reprise her role as wide-eyed journalist Andy trying to stay afloat at a fashion magazine? Could Meryl Streep, who has recently lent her pipes to a slew of musical films (Into The Woods, Mamma Mia), take up the mantle of Miranda Priestly once more?

We can only hope.
