Yahoo Lifestyle Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Makeup Free In #GlamJam Transformation

We're used to seeing Gwyneth Paltrow looking #flawless - so we were a little surprised when we glimpsed her latest Instagram post.
The A-list actress isn't much of a selfie taker - but her latest set of pictures, which depict her with and without makeup, may indicate otherwise.
"Day-to-night. I nominate @amandadecadenet to share her most glamorous transformation. #GlamJan #sp@maxfactor," Paltrow captioned the image.
Despite the explanation, Vanity Fair hilariously has some other ideas on what it could all mean.
"We are going to interpret, instead, that this picture is a 'sequel' of sorts to Sliding Doors, and the two selfies represent the two different outcomes the character in that movie could have for herself in 2015. In one, she has become an environmental scientist, studying the migration patterns of squirrels in the wild. In the second, she has become a P.R. executive with a great love of the ballet and Caesar salad."
Paltrow reportedly keeps quite a strict beauty regime, telling marie claire Australia last month that she's extra careful with her skin.
"My skin tends to be dry, so I try to keep it hydrated, and I get a facial once a month with Sonya Dakar in LA," Paltrow told us. "I relish my time in the facialist bed."
Paltrow isn't, however, a fan of a lot of makeup, despite the dramatic image on the left hand side of her selfie.
"I wake up and splash my face with water and then I'm racing off with kids and making lunch and the school run, and then I go to the gym," Paltrow explained. "For a night out, I do mascara and maybe some lip gloss - that's about as far as I go."
The actress also spilled her favourite products, telling marie claire, "I rotate between a La Prairie moisturiser and one from Sonya Dakar. I have two Max Factor mascaras: Clump Defy and Masterpiece Transform for evening. Orofluido Beauty Elixir is my favourite hair oil and I always carry By Terry Baume de Rose lip balm in my bag."
