Eddie Redmayne Is A Married Man

It’s official: Eddie Redmayne is a married man. The 32-year old actor has just married his publicist girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe in an intimate ceremony at members' club Babington House in Somerset, England.

Redmayne’s rep has confirmed that the candlelit ceremony was a private affair limited to the couple’s inner circle. “I am happy confirm that Hannah and Eddie married today,” Redmayne’s rep said in a statement. “They celebrated with a small number of close family and friends.”

Redmayne – famously a fashion lover and the face of Burberry menswear – chose a traditional morning suit and a lilac tie for the ceremony. No images of the bride’s dress yet. The wedding was winter wonderland themed, with Redmayne telling British newspaper The Sun “we like the hymn 'In The Bleak Midwinter' and want an excuse to sing that at the wedding.”

The venue – country club Babington House in Somerset – is a popular location amongst the A-list. Fat Boy Slim married Zoe Ball at the club in 1999. More recently, actor James Corden (star of next month’s Into The Woods) chose it as the venue for his 2012 wedding to Julia Carey.

It’s been a good week for Redmayne. Along with his recent nuptials, Redmayne received both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actor’s Guild nomination for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.
