We asked some of Australia's favourite stars - from Asher Keddie to Sarah Blasko and Frances O'Connor - to evoke the spirit of some of the world's most loved and popular books.

You can join our campaign and make a difference by dropping off new or pre-loved books to any Officeworks store around Australia.

Find your nearest Officeworks store

Within every store, you'll find a specially branded shelf where you can drop off your book. Any books left here will be donated to the ALNF's Share-A-Book scheme.

Alternatively, you can make a donation at any Officeworks store or buy one of the books on the Share-A-Book shelf for a gold donation to ALNF.

Share-A-Book program

ALNF's Share-a-Book provides new and quality pre-loved books and magazines to disadvantaged youth and indigenous, refugee and marginalised communities in need. Culturally sensitive books and magazines are donated to ALNF by schools, corporations, publishing houses, booksellers and individuals and are then distributed to communities throughout Australia.

Once books are received into these communities, ALNF Share-a-Book Libraries are established in local schools, pre-schools, community and language centres. Adults and children are invited to borrow the books with no negative consequences if the books are damaged or dirtied. The books do not need to be returned to the library but can be kept at home if desired.
