Yahoo Lifestyle Celebrity Stylist Reveals Actresses Paid Up To $250,000 For Wearing Designer Dresses

Hollywood stars are often paid well into the six figures to don certain designers’ creations, it has been revealed.
Speaking at the Vulture Festival's Hollywood Power Stylist Panel, Jessica Paster, who styles Emily Blunt amongst other A-listers, admitted: “I’m not going to bullshit. If it looks gorgeous on you and this is the dress we were going to pick anyway, why not be paid?”
According to Paster, actresses can be paid anywhere from between $100,000 to $250,000 to wear a major fashion house’s look on the red carpet. She also revealed that stylists themselves can earn anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 for placing an actress in a particular label for a big name event or awards show.
But Paster said, money isn’t enough to sway a star to wear something they don’t actually like, arguing "If it looks awful on you, $100,000 or $250,000 is not worth it, but if it looks gorgeous and this is the dress you were going to pick anyway, why not get paid?”
Joining Paster at the talk were stylists Erin Walsh, Brad Goreski and Brandon Maxwell.
Brandon Maxwell, who counts Lady Gaga as one of his regular clients, said: “It's all wrapped up in money. It's Hollywood, we’re not at church!'
While there might be big bucks at stake, all four stylists agreed that most important thing was making sure the celebrity was happy, saying: "You want your client to come to you the following year and be like, 'I felt so amazing last year, let's try to top that.'"
