Kate Middleton has been attracting some attention lately for her daring maternity style - and now we know why.

The Duchess has reportedly employed 27-year old PA Natasha Archer as her new stylist and fashion director in a bid to show off a sophisticated new look.
"Archer is said to have been helping the Duchess with her most recent sartorial selections and steering her towards the "glamorous" and "on trend" looks she has been sporting lately," reported the Telegraph UK. "The Duchess is said to be keen to show off a sophisticated new look but to also ensure that she doesn't look older than her 32 years."
Vanity Fair reports that although Kate was a reluctant fashion icon at first, she's now embraced the role and feels it's time to step up her game in the style stakes with the help of Archer.
"(Archer) shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on... She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks," a source told Vanity Fair. "The hemlines are shorter and Kate's really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes."
The Duchess turned heads recently in a sky blue Jenny Packham minidress with long hemline, and a daring black cut-out Temperley London gown.
"The silhouette of her Temperley London dress was demure, the cutouts more unexpectedly edgy - and kind of daring for the pregnant Duchess," the Los Angeles Times said of her most recent outfit.
"It's great to see her showing some skin and proving that pregnant women can be stylish and sexy," added Bustle.com. "I cannot wait to see what she'll wear for future pre-baby public appearances. After all, Middleton is the Duchess of Hot Maternity Wear."
