MAFS viewers call out bride Holly's 'cringeworthy' wedding vows: 'Red flag'
Married at First Sight viewers were introduced to new couple Holly Greenstein and Texan Andrew Davis on Wednesday night, and while the pair seemed to hit it off well (despite Holly's worries about her new husband's American background) viewers had a few thoughts after their wedding ceremony.
MAFS fans took to Twitter, after 36-year-old Holly quoted both Savage Garden and Michael Buble in her wedding vows, with some people calling the moment 'cringeworthy'.
"Savage Garden once said, 'I knew I loved you before I met you', and Michael Buble said, 'I haven't met you yet', and now that we have met, I hope that we both find what we are looking for on this incredible journey, we are about to embark on," Holly said, facing Andrew for the first time at the altar.
"I am here to find my soul mate, nothing is more important to me than to find a partner who will make me a priority and equally desires to start our own little family."
While Andrew seemed to love her vows (which did get a giggle from one of his friends in attendance), viewers watching from home had mixed reactions.

"Quoting Savage Garden in your vows is icon behaviour," one person said on Twitter.
"Ok. I can never to listen to SG or Buble ever again after that opening to Holly's speech. Kinda cute but overly cheesy as well," another said.
Meanwhile, others weren't fans. "Oh no Holly, Why. Do not besmirch the good name of Savage Garden by associating them with this disaster," was one person's reaction.
"SHE DID NOT JUST QUOTE SAVAGE GARDEN AND MICHAEL BUBLE LYRICS," another 'screamed' into the Ethernet.
"Starting off marriage vows with 'savage garden once said' is a red flag," was another response, while a third said: "This is too cringeworthy".
During the show Holly made it clear she desperately wants to meet the love of her life so she can realise her life-long dream of becoming a mother.
She was over the moon to hear Andrew already had a young daughter and was open to having more children.
Married at First Sight continues tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
