MAFS star Jess' drunken regret
Her behaviour at last week’s dinner party didn’t earn Jessika much sympathy from viewers, but there was something so relatable about the moment she woke up the next morning to the full realisation of her drunken antics.
The Instagram star, 26, was filmed puffy eyed and brimming with remorse as she came to on the morning of the commitment ceremony.
“I feel frigging terrible!” she exclaimed, “I’m gonna die.”
Rubbing her face, she told cameras, “I woke up feeling quite remorseful for the way that I acted last night.
“At the end of the day, I’m a young woman who wants attention, and Mick, he’s just pushed me away this whole entire week.”
As fans of the show will remember, Jess took Nic – who is married to Cyrell – aside to express her feelings for him after the ‘leg rubbing’ rumours, but he promptly shut it down.
She then turned her attention to new hubby Dan, much to the disgust of his TV wife Tamara.
But despite her morning after regret, Jess hasn’t been denying her chemistry with Dan, whom she described as “a very attractive man”.
“When Dan and I started talking, we had a connection straight away,” she told Talking Married. “If I had a checklist and I handed it to the experts… he would be ticking every single box.”
“I wouldn’t take back my connection with Dan,” she added.
While her flirtatious behaviour ended up drawing quite a bit of attention, newcomer Billy claimed to be one of the first to notice the funny business, telling 9Honey, “I picked that straight away.”
“She [Jess] was following him around the room. I was onto it before anybody. And Susie said that I was crazy, it was just me being oversensitive.
“But I was like, ‘Hey, I can see, she’s making the eyes at Daniel something fierce.’ I’m like, ‘I’ve seen that before. That ain’t just in my mind.’ And she’s like, ‘You’re crazy Billy. You read into things too much.’”
By the end of the evening, the only person who didn’t seem to notice was Jess’ husband Mick who was filled in before the commitment ceremony and decided to publicly confront his bride.
“You got something you wanna say to Dan and Tamara?” he asked her on the couch in front of the experts.
“I haven’t looked at any other woman any other way, you know, I’m not looking anywhere else.”
Mick chose to leave the experiment, but as Jess said ‘stay’, they will remain together for another week with Mick taking his wife back to his farm.
In the preview for tonight’s episode, he can be seen saying, “She’s not gonna last”.
