Married at First Sight bride, Jamie has revealed the secret to her and Dave's success in the experiment.

While fans will have to wait and see whether the couple make it to the end of the experiment, Jamie told Yahoo Lifestyle that she credits their success during the first few weeks to a simple pact they made on their honeymoon.

She said, a lot of people don't realise that your partner is your ride or die.

Like it's actually you two against the world on maps.

People easily turn against each other, but if you actually form that alliance and go, let's try and make this and let's have each other's back, it can work.

I feel like that's what we established on the honeymoon and it really worked for us.

Jamie added, so when things came up, we handled things respectfully.

We didn't blame each other, we took accountability, and that's something you don't really see too often on maths.

Jamie went on to assert that participants should stop worrying about how they'll be portrayed on TV and instead prioritise their relationship.

She said, I think people get lost in their own perception and how they're going to be assessed, and I think that's where people went wrong.
