MAFS EXCLUSIVE: Surprising theory about psychic medium Madeleine
An insider has divulged the MAFS cast were suspicious Madeleine wasn't who she said she was.
Madeleine Maxwell's gift as a psychic medium is already causing issues with her marriage to Ash Galati on Married At First Sight, and Yahoo Lifestyle understands her "gift" also raised eyebrows amongst her co-stars as well as her partner.
An insider tells us that Madeleine didn't easily make friends with the other participants as some of the cast members thought she was acting.
"As the weeks passed, Madeleine didn't have many friends in the cast and most became convinced she was conducting her own social experiment within the experiment of the show," they share.
"They think once the show has wrapped she's going to come out and say she was secretly playing a character all along, wanting to see if she could fool Australia, [and] then try to relaunch her acting career. Even now that months have passed since filming wrapped half of them are baffled by her."
Madeleine's acting career
Madeleine has been on our TV screens before in a few roles, most notably on Upper Middle Bogan, Wentworth Prison, and Home and Away.
The psychic medium and former actor also has had her name changed on her IMDB page, and it now states Madeleine Maxwell.

Her last acting role appeared to be on Home and Away, where she played Amber Simmons from 2020-2021, for a total of 55 episodes.
She's also had guest appearances on Offspring, True Story with Hamish & Andy, and My Life Is Murder.
Last year it was reported that fellow cast members were convinced Madeleine had been planted by production in order to "shake things up" with one source telling Daily Mail Australia that the actress told everyone she was a psychic instead of confessing her "real job".
