MAFS' Cathy Evans shows off results of $30k transformation

Former Married At First Sight bride Cathy Evans has showed off the results of her $30,000 body transformation.

In June, the 28-year-old revealed last week that she would be undergoing a body transformation, including a ‘mini Brazilian butt lift’.

Now, Cathy has taken to her Instagram to show off the results, posing in a tiny blue bikini alongside the caption: 'A view for my neighbours'.

"So beautiful," one person commented, while another wrote: "Gorgeous".

Cathy was very open with detailing her surgery journey, taking to her Instagram post-surgery to share a confronting photo of herself bandaged up.

Describing how she was coping with the pain, she said: “Those who said ‘it’s not that bad’, ‘it’s a piece of cake’, were lying through their teeth!” she captioned one selfie, showing her resting on the bed stomach down.

“I’m super swollen right now so my face looks quite f**ked and I can only sleep on my stomach,” she continued in a second post.

“My neck is killing so I can’t really do anything about this discomfort but I’m getting by. I am in quite a bit of pain and very limited in movement and I’m very wet from the leaking.”

The reality TV star told her fans that she will be documenting the full road to recovery and will start posting vlogs on her YouTube channel soon.

Cathy explained in her initial announcement video last week that she would be getting the treatment “to many areas of the body”, including her arms, upper and lower back, upper and lower abdomen, flanks, thighs, chin and neck.

The process involves fat being transferred to her hips to “create a much more softer and curved frame silhouette”.

“I've thought about this long and hard enough,” she assured her followers. “I'm old enough to make my own decisions and what I decided to do to my body doesn't affect anyone at all, it doesn't change my personality it just makes me look better.”

Cathy’s surgeon Dr Joseph Waelchli shared a video with her pre-operation, detailing the full procedure and how he wanted to create “an improved buttock and hip shape”.

The professional posted before and after photos of Cathy’s results shortly after, showing the impressive change in her figure.

In her previous post, Cathy also wanted to assure viewers that she did not want to push the idea of liposuction onto anyone, but show people what her honest experience is like so that if anyone is thinking of doing the same thing, they can make an informed decision.

"And you know what, I know it's not for everyone. And I'm not here promoting this plastic surgery and I'm not here promoting any kind of procedure on yourself. I'm showing you my journey and showing you my experience in the hopes that it educates you to know what you're doing, if you decide to do it, or it might even actually turn you off and be like, 'Yeah, I'm glad I didn't go through that like I saw what Cathy went through and I don't think I could do that'.

"This is no funny business you are going and changing your body forever," she added.
