Yahoo Lifestyle Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song See Themselves in Their Sons

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin may have invited Cosmopolitan home with them for the cover of Cosmo's Love Issue, but that doesn't mean the notoriously private couple revealed all. In fact, while the two former child stars opened up about their first meeting, past projects, and even took a Cosmo Couples Quiz, one thing they didn't discuss much was their kids. But don't worry, we still managed to get some fun tidbits about their family of four, including which of their sons is most like them.
Brenda and Mack are parents of two boys, Dakota, 3, and Carson, 2. And Dakota, nicknamed DakDak, is apparently so much like his father that they can butt heads sometimes. Oh, and he thinks he's the real star of Home Alone. "Dakota thinks he's Kevin McCallister," Brenda told Cosmo, saying that her son will even claim to remember filming certain scenes or dyeing his hair blonde for the role. "Boy, I'm raising a liar," Macaulay added.
Dakota did, however, inherit some traits from his mother. Along with his dark hair, Brenda says, "He is a stomper, like me." Meanwhile, Carson has his mom's raspy voice and his father's tread. "Carson walks on his tippy-toes, like me," Mack said.
So far, it's unclear whether or not either of their sons will join the family business—though it seems that child stardom isn't in the cards, as Brenda and Mack tend to keep them out of the spotlight. Their first—and thus far, only—public appearance was at Mack's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2023, a family affair that left both parents in tears.
"I'd like to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything. You're my champion," he told his fiancée during a heartfelt speech. "You've given me all my purpose. You've given me family. And after the birth of our two boys, you've become one of my three favorite people."
It's official: I can't get enough of these two (and their two precious offspring).
