Yahoo Lifestyle Lucy Hale and Tyler Blackburn Have a “Pretty Little Liars ”Reunion on New Year’s Eve: 'So Very Thankful'

On Dec. 31, the 35-year-old actress shared a series of photos of her beach getaway with Blackburn, 38, and friends Claire Collins Leahy and Kurt Collins.
“Got to spend the last day of the year on the water with 3 incredible friends and humans and all I wanted to do today was jump in the water and say out loud what we were leaving behind in 2024!!” she captioned the Instagram post.
“Grateful for a year of growth, friendship, and perspective. happy new year everyone,” she added. “I am so very thankful for all of you & hope you step into the new year with massive love for yourself xx”
The post included a photo of the group smiling aboard a yacht and swimming in the water as well as a solo shot of Hale sporting a turquoise bikini and a baseball cap.
In a follow-up post, Hale shared a photo of the group dressed for New Year’s Eve. In the snapshot, she wore a black cocktail dress while Blackburn sported a monochromatic cream look that he paired with black loafers.

The Hating Game star also reposted Leahy’s video of her and Blackburn jumping on a trampoline on the yacht while holding hands.
Hale, who played Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, starred opposite Blackburn, who portrayed Caleb Rivers. The show ran for seven seasons from 2010 to 2017.
In October, Hale had another Pretty Little Liars reunion when she ran into her former costars Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse at the 2024 WIF Max Mara Face of the Future event and the following day at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards.

Hale later opened up to PEOPLE about how that viral PLL reunion photo came to be.
"I was so happy to see them. I mean, you never know who you’re going to run into at these things, but you always assume it’s gonna be your friends," she said. "I saw Sasha first and then I saw Ashley, and it’s great. I love those girls, and it’s always amazing when we can gather to be in the same place."
Hale didn't know that Benson, 35, and Pieterse, 28, would be in attendance at the event ahead of time, which made the surprise reunion that much better.
'We’re always like, 'We have to do a proper reunion!'" she shared. "It was quick — short and sweet — but it made my night."
