The 48-year-old, posing in an orange swimsuit from her new collection in UK magazine Hello, admitted that she 'still loves' the Aussie cricketer.

"Love isn't a switch that you can turn on or off at will and of course I still love him - we are part of each others history," she revealed.

Liz dated 44-year-old Shane for three years before finally calling time on their relationship late last year.

"We finally parted ways in November 2013 and it was a very sad time for both of us.

"I struggled for a while but feel in a very good place today. In fact, both professionally and personally everything is blooming."

The actress is now dating hedge fund tycoon-turned-wildlife photographer, David Yarrow, 48, who she describes as, "a man of integrity and charm and who, incidentally, cooks roast potatoes to rival those of my father."

Shane has also moved on from the painful split, with news this week that he has found himself caught in a love triangle with ex wife Simone Callahan and old pal Dannii Minogue.

The exes, who have three children from their 15-year on-off marriage - Brooke, 16, Jackson, 14 and Summer, 12 - raised eyebrows when they were spotted laughing and joking at Jackson's Aussie Rules match recently.

However the cricketing legend also set tongues wagging when he and Dannii, who he has been romantically linked to in the past, were hanging out at the Logie Awards last week.

The 42-year-old star hinted at a flirtation back in 2005 when she spoke to the UK's Daily Mirror:
"The funniest thing is I know nothing about cricket. He keeps saying, 'Come to a game' and I'm like, I don't know what you do'."

When questioned about whether their friendship might turn into something more, she revealed, "He's got enough to contend with, with his reputation," she said at the time.

However a heart-broken Warnie spoke with Kiss FM's Kyle and Jackie O where he revealed that he hadn't been on a date in the "sad time" since splitting from Liz.
